    This role will manage the day-to-day benefits administration, report creation, manage entry of new hires and benefits orientation, as well as assist with benefit campaigns and open enrollment. Creativity and passion combined with an attention to detail will be essential for this role.

    Duties/Responsibilities in English and Spanish:

    • Responds to employee requests and questions regarding payroll, benefits, 401K, cobra, scheduling, etc.
    • Ensures employee benefit cost sharing deductions are accurate and timely. Coordinates analysis and submission of Benefits bills for payment. Administers various employee benefit programs, such as group life insurance, life, medical and dental, accident and disability insurance, pensions. Resolves administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
    • Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of all information and processes contained in the HRIS system: entering new employees, updating employee information, benefits enrollments and changes, performance management module maintenance, etc. Ensure data integrity in HRIS system
    • Produces and distributes department reports according to agency reporting schedules and deadlines
    • Triages and directs internal and external benefit requests and questions (mail, email, phone, etc.) to address and respond based on complexity of the issues.
    • Assists in answering basic questions, troubleshooting and providing problem resolution and redirects more complex matters as appropriate.
    • Assists with new hire benefits orientation including coordinating schedules, logistics and materials. Coordinates the employee benefit premium/deduction processes between the third party administrator(s) and Payroll system. Activities include auditing, identifying and working with appropriate parties (internal and external) on deduction discrepancies.
    • Processes benefit program vendor invoices, allocating applicable expense accounts, and obtaining appropriate payment approvals. Collaborates with Accounts Payable and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
    • Assists in variety of annual open enrollment activities.
    • Assists team with activities related to benefit program audits, reconciliations, reports, statistics to ensure efficient and accurate benefit program administration.
    • Maintains high standards of confidentiality, handles sensitive and non-routine information/files, and explains policies when necessary
    • Conducts Benefits new employee orientations in English and Spanish

    Job Experience/Skills: 

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is required for this role.
    • 5+ years of benefits experience in a medium to large organization.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
    • Must have presentation and translation skills in both English and Spanish
    • Must be highly detailed and organized
    • Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and determine priorities
    • Must have excellent customer service skills 

    Education: Bachelor's Degree is required
